HAMSPHIRE: Wildish Christmas Walk

Join Bex for our Wildish Christmas Walk doing part of the Saunton Way. From Finchdean, we’ll climb up onto the top of the downs. At 140m, there are panoramic views across the downs — from the Solent in the south to Queen Elizabeth Country Park in the north.

HAMPSHIRE: Folklore and witchcraft walk in the historic New Forest (1)

Join Bex for a walk filled with folklore and witchcraft in the historic New Forest. The walk will start in the historic village of Burley, hidden deep in the majestic forest and known for its natural beauty, quaint streets and it’s magical connection.

HAMPSHIRE: Halnaker Tree Tunnel and Windmill Walk.

Join Bex for a beautiful walk to see the famous tree tunnel at Halnaker in all its Autumn glory. The walk will traverse the ancient Roman Road, providing us plenty of opportunity for stunning photographs, miles of nature to practice the Japanese process of relaxation known as Shinrin-yoku.

HAMPSHIRE: Southsea Seaside Stroll and Sea Swim.

Starting from speakers corner we will stroll through the common making our way to Old Portsmouth and Spice Island before heading back along the seafront to one of the swimming areas for a sea dip for those who fancy it.

HAMPSHIRE: Meon Valley Blackberry Picking

A super casual walk taking in the views and some of the Hills of the Meon Valley picking blackberries as we walk. Opportunity for the foodies to share any recipes they may have for Jam, Crumble, muffins!

HAMPSHIRE: Frensham Pond Walk and Wild Swim

A delightful walk along the trails surrounding Frensham Great Pond and Little Frensham Pond. We will follow the trails taking in the varied heathland, heather’s and gorse and the beautiful woodland before finishing back at the Great Pond for a wild swim if you fancy and a picnic on the beach.

HAMPSHIRE: BEACON HILL CIRCULAR WANDER

Join Bex and the Hampshire Wildish Club on a Wildish Wander of Beacon Hill. Starting at 11am we will explore this area of scientific interest and enjoy stunning views across the Solent and of Old Winchester Hill.

HAMPSHIRE: Wild Garlic Foraging

Join Bex for a walk around Butser Hill at the Round Tower. We will head across the top of Butser and down the North Facing slope of Butser to a lovely switch back through the trees which are plentiful with wild garlic which we will forage and then enjoy some delicious wild garlic scones together.

HAMPSHIRE: Winter foliage foraging and wreath making

Join Bex for an extra special Wildish Walk and workshop. The walk will be through the lanes and footpaths around East Meon, where you will forage for Winter Foliage to use in your Christmas Wreath.

Join Bex for a summer stroll along the Hayling Billy Trail including the Nature Reserve with a sea swim and picnic at the half way point.

Join Bex for a photography walk along Southsea Esplanade taking in the historic sights in twilight, seeing the sunset before strolling back and experiencing the Esplanade by night.

Wild Garlic Foraging in the Meon Valley

Join me for a lovely 6.5 mile walk starting at the Izaak Walton Pub in East Meon, we will take a mixture of path ways and roads to meander through the valley picking Wild Garlic on the way to get to the base of the North Slope of Butser Hill.

Join Bex for a gentle walk along the banks of the historic Wey Navigation, it was the first river in Britain to be made navigable. As we walk we can use the beauty of the surrounding landscape as inspiration for our watercolour painting!

HAMPSHIRE: Meon Valley Walk

Join Bex for a walk around the Meon Valley taking in all the views! Starting outside the Izzak Walton in East Meon we will make our way through the lanes and pathways to the base of Butser Hill and ascend via Limekiln Lane to reach the top.

New Year Wildish Walk

Join Bex for a mindfulness and intention setting walk at the tree-topped beacon of St Catherine's Hill in historic Winchester.

Butser Hill Walk and Sketch

Join Bex for a gentle walk around the top of Butser Hill and take in the views from one of the highest points in Hampshire, bring your sketch pad and pens/pencils and enjoy trying to capture the majesty and history of some seriously windswept trees, or the varying ridge lines of the Meon Valley.

Hayling Island Billy Trail Wildish Walk

Following the old Hayling Billy railway line from Hayling bridge south we will cross over onto the island and follow in some very historical tracks. The scenery along the trail is second to none and may surprise you.
