|Speakers corner by The Briny in Southsea
HAMPSHIRE: Southsea Seaside Stroll and Sea Swim.
Starting from speakers corner we will stroll through the common making our way to Old Portsmouth and Spice Island before heading back along the seafront to one of the swimming areas for a sea dip for those who fancy it.

About the Event
Starting from speakers corner we will stroll through the common making our way to Old Portsmouth and Spice Island before heading back along the seafront to one of the swimming areas for a sea dip for those who fancy it (weather and water quality dependent) the walk includes many points of historical interest including Southsea Castle, the D Day memorial, the Hot Walls, The Still and West Pub dating from around 1700 (yes we will stop here for refreshments!)
Meeting time: 10:45am for an 11am start
Meeting point: Speakers corner by The Briny in Southsea. PO4 0SH
Walk length: around 8.5km (if you fancy joining us but doing a shorter distance there are plenty of places to join, message Bex for details.)
Super flat walk on mostly pavement and paths.
