The Peaks Wildish Club is run by Rachel and Lou who host Wildish Wanders and other events.

When are the Wanders?: Usually Sunday mornings but check the events page here or our Whatsapp Group for the latest info.

Meeting point: Normally Open House in Hathersage

What is a Wildish Wander? An unplanned, slow walk for curious people. It’s never far or hard - more about meeting people, noticing what’s around us, and learning from each other than racking up miles.

Good to know: All welcome. We keep the pace easy and stop often to observe. Dogs on leads are fine. If you’re new, arrive a few minutes early to say hello. Bring comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

And if you want to stay connected to the wider Wildish world - sign up to our newsletter.

Walk Journal \\ 8th Feb: Weird and wonderful moss and a hungry Robin!

Today the PEAKS club walked through the atmospheric gorge that is Luds Church, also known historically as The Green Chapel apparently. We fed a hungry Robin on the way and ID'd some moss. Thanks to our lovely host Lou for a great day!
