LONDON: Nature Sketching in the Lee Valley

Join us in the Lee Valley as we wander through its lakes, wetlands and big skies. May is a lovely time to do it — nesting birds, hawthorn blossom and the reed beds waking up. Along the way we'll stop to sketch by the water for 20-30 minutes. No artistic experience needed, and no one will be judging your heron. A 10.3 km circular walk, flat and easy going. Bring a pencil, a light layer and some snacks. Meet at Cheshunt Station (Liverpool Street line, around 30 mins) at 13:15 for a 13:30 start.
