About the Event
Epping Forest & Connaught Water Wander
Join Rob and Hannah as London Wildish heads along the Epping Forest Centenary Walk, exploring one of London's most treasured green spaces and enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Connaught Water.
Starting from Wood Street Station, we'll follow a green corridor that gradually leads us from the city into the ancient landscapes of Epping Forest. Along the way we'll spend time near the River Ching, considering how water has shaped the landscape and how people, in turn, have shaped the river over time.
This is a relaxed social walk with plenty of opportunities to chat, connect with fellow Wildish Club members and meet new people. Whether you're a regular on our walks or joining for the first time, you'll find a friendly group and a shared appreciation for spending time outdoors.
We'll loop around Connaught Water before finishing at Chingford Station, right on the edge…
