About the Event

Wild Garlic Foraging

📅 Sunday 29th March

⏰ 10:30am

A stunning spring walk to ancient woodland and a carpeted floor of wild garlic 🤌 One of my favourite walks — and a bit of a secret spot I’m excited to share with you.

We’ll meet at Butser Hill Roundhouse Café and start from the top of Butser, descending down Limekiln Lane with beautiful views out over the Meon Valley. We’ll then wander along the north side of the hill before heading into a gorgeous wooded glade that’s abundant with wild garlic.

Here we’ll stop, forage, take it all in, and enjoy this special ancient woodland spot. The walk back up to the top is steep, so we’ll take it steady before finishing with a well-earned drink at the café.
