Join the Cambridge Wildish Club on a gorgeous wildflower walk around Houghton Meadows. We’ll be joined by John, BCN Wildlife Trust Voluntary Warden for Houghton Meadows, who will share his knowledge of the local wildlife, wildflowers, and history of the area.

About the Event

Join us for our Wildish wild flower walk on Saturday 2nd May from 11am–2pm as we explore the beautiful Ouse Valley landscape around St Ives. Starting at the Norris Museum, we’ll enjoy a relaxed walk through riverside paths, wildflower meadows, woodland trails, and charming village scenery.


We’ll be joined by John, BCN Wildlife Trust Voluntary Warden for Houghton Meadows, who will share his knowledge of the local wildlife, wildflowers, and history of the area.


Highlights include Holt Island Nature Reserve, The Thicket woodlands, and Houghton Mill, where there’ll be time for coffee and lunch.


What to bring: water bottle, camera, and appropriate shoes
