About the Event
On Sunday 13th September, Janet and Andy will be leading us on one of their favourite local loops from the Wildish Store in Pateley Bridge.
And they’ll be doing it just a week after completing the 26-mile Macmillan Mighty Hike from Alnwick to Bamburgh. Don’t worry, this won’t be a reenactment.
Instead, we’ll be taking things at a much more Wildish pace.
We’ll head out of Pateley Bridge along the Panorama Walk before making our way through Blazefields and past Kiln House, taking in memorial woodland, some lovely views and, apparently, a few llamas along the way.
From there, we’ll drop down to the River Nidd and follow it back through Glasshouses before returning to the shop.
It’s a lovely local loop on mostly good paths, with plenty to be curious about along the way.
